Canoeing

The Kayaking team will be paddling one of Britains most famous rivers, the River Wye. You can expect to be split into two groups on the Saturday and Sunday.

The first lower level group will be concentrating on more basic skills over a number of miles on grade 1 water. This will for most paddlers be a first time on this beautiful river, lunch by the river on a hot summers day? Who can resist that?

The second more experienced group will be bringing your basic skills to a higher level paddling on grade 1 and grade 2 water. Refueling in the sunshine on the river bank before moving on too the grade 2 water where there will hopefully be a chance to gain experience and knowledge on moving water strokes.

When choosing a group level 1 or level 2 please bear in mind your experience and what awards you have in kayaking or canoeing.
Level 2 group should ideally have their two star award or be fairly experienced. No previous experience on moving water is necessary.

Maximum places: 16 places
