Menu 2014

To keep the cost of the camp down we do not have a catering team. Explorers and leaders will be expected to help prepare breakfast and the evening meal.

Friday Evening – 7pm

Instructor’s meal; whatever we can rustle up. Properly a “cavers grool”. This is limited to instructors and staff only who have arrived to assist with the set up of the event. Pre-booking is essential.

Saturday Breakfast – 8am prompt!

A choice of shallow fired or eggie bread served with Bacon accompanied with brown or tomato jus.

Porridge with sugar.

Tea and coffee

Saturday Lunch

Pasty, crisps, fruit, flapjack, drink

Saturday Afternoon Tea – on arrival back

Cake and tea

Saturday Night – 7pm ish

A selection of sausages resting on a selection of mashed root vegetables, doused in a onion gravy.

Followed by a selection of crumble with creme anglaise and cheese board.

Sunday Breakfast – 7.30am

Anything that wasn’t eaten last night + bacon cobs and porridge

Sunday lunch

This will not be provided this year as you’ll all want to go to MacDonalds on the way back home anyway!

If you have dietary requirements you need to tell us when you book so that we can make provision for you. Its only a problem when you tell us a week before the event. A vegetarian option will be available at all meals for those who have booked.  We are not aware of any food allergies on the event.
